Paseo de Larios

The Paseo de Larios in Torre del Mar is a wide, pedestrian walkway connecting the paseo marítimo (promenade) with avenida Andalucia.

On either side of the Paseo de Larios are numerous bars, cafeterias and restaurants serving a variety of different cuisines including the local speciality, fried fish.

The Tourist Office is also located on the paseo.

The Paseo de Larios is lined with trees, plants and flowers, has plenty of seats and there is a nice fountain in the middle with a sculpture of a dog cheekily cocking its leg.

At the paseo maritimo end is a statue called El Jabegote and it is dedicated to the men of the sea – homenaje a los hombres de la mar. It is the work of Jaime F Pimentel and was erected in 2003.
